Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining the knowledge and skills essential to the performance of behaviors described in this job description, and is accountable to the administrative nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Six months recent inpatient telemetry monitoring experience
- Completion of an EKG Interpretation course
- High School diploma; or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in independent EKG interpretation
- Excellent verbal and written skills; must be well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Basic computer keyboard skills and general PC knowledge
- The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health location
Preferred Qualifications
- One year recent inpatient telemetry monitoring experience
- Knowledge and experience working with Philips, GE, and/or Masimo physiological monitor
- Experience in medical centralized telemetry setting
