Overview

The Digital Experience team at Patelco is responsible for making it easy for members to effectively manage their financial lives online and to help them feel confident about their financial well-being. We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Manager with a successful track record delivering positive first impressions leading to membership conversion, ongoing engagement, and product adoption in consumer and/or financial products. KPIs for this role include organizational goals for new membership, member satisfaction, and financial services product adoption. You will apply innovative solutions to create a streamlined new account origination and onboarding journey that reduces complexity and friction from the experience. You will create and apply sales funnel analysis to identify and lead continuous optimization of the end-to-end digital member onboarding experience and coordinate cross-channel impacts. In addition to accountability for the digital experience, you will partner with our call center, back-office operations, Technology and Risk Management to optimize and measure processes that directly support the digital onboarding experience.


Responsibilities

  • Translating our high-level strategic vision into product/features/functionality roadmap and leading execution of the work. Managing features and functionality as it relates to capabilities that comprise a best-in-class onboarding experience.
  • Working with call center and back-office operations on workflow and process improvements to streamline the manual handling of digital applications.
  • Leading development of new features from concept to launch through the entire digital development life cycle - from research to ideation and prototyping to measuring and iterating.
  • Leading research, testing, metrics analysis (including sales funnel), data insights and experimentation to inform decisions.
  • Partnering with key internal stakeholders and external vendor partners to translate business strategies into digital features that delight our customers.
  • Understanding customer pain points, assist in defining solutions and bring them to life.
  • Keeping abreast of leading customer onboarding experiences, emerging technologies, fintech innovations and digital banking trends to inform product direction and strategy.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Technology
  • 5+ years digital product management experience
  • At least 3 years managing consumer-facing mobile products (apps and mobile web)
  • Financial services experience preferred
  • Strong understanding and working experience utilizing design-thinking best practices to deliver digital products and experiences
  • An obsession with customer experience and making good experiences great
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to package analyses into compelling presentations
  • Creative self-starter with can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional organization
  • Experience leading process improvement or workflow optimization

Target Base Pay

$113,281 - $141,603 / per year
