Overview

Summary


Provides underwriting technical support to renewal underwriters. Main responsibilities include assisting with renewal file preparation, endorsement requests, follow up with agents, binding process, and miscellaneous tasks. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization

The salary range for this role is $20-29.81/HR. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales and or revenue-based metrics. This range may be modified in the future.

Responsibilities
    Insurance binder processing
  1. Renewal solicitation
  2. Provide instruction to processing department for new and renewal accounts
  3. Provide instruction to processing department for endorsement requests
  4. Fulfill brokers requests for, loss runs, copies of policies, copies of invoicing, etc.
  5. Agency support of general questions regarding renewal status, endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, commission questions, etc.)
  6. Order and analyze work comp audits
  7. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required:

  • Entry Level Underwriting Assistant that will support Workers' Compensation Underwriters
  • High School Graduate or GED as minimum education requirements.
  • Proven research and analytical skills to identify, gather and organize information to provide recommendations
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced atmosphere
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note)
  • Ability to learn new software applications


Preferred:

  • Some college preferred.
