Snowflake's CRM organization is seeking a Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) developer to join our growing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to build business applications and design features to improve the reliability of our applications and systems. As the Salesforce CPQ developer you are responsible to translate business needs into technical specifications, design and development solutions, test and deploy them into production.

ONSITE REQUIREMENT:

To ensure effective collaboration and project participation, this position requires onsite presence in our Dublin, CA office for 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Technical design and implementation of Quote to Cash solutions using Salesforce CPQ
  • Provide day to day CPQ platform and user support
  • Document as-is and to-be architecture solutions. Present complex solutions, options and benefits to key technical program stakeholders.
  • Responsible for defining, estimating, and shaping CPQ technical solutions using best practices.
  • Maintain and configure our development and test instances for our internal sandboxes.
  • Communicate and work effectively with cross functional teams including business teams, product teams, global IT Apps teams, consultants & vendors
  • Responsible for issue resolution in UAT and post production support of CPQ functionality

  • Actively contribute to building and troubleshooting process automation across our Salesforce instance
  • Customize as necessary in implementing scalable solutions, while advocating for best practices
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :
  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or in a related field
  • 8+ years of Experience in architecting and designing full stack solutions using Salesforce Platform
  • 3+ years Salesforce CPQ/ Steelbrick experience with multiple currencies and complex products
  • At least 2 full cycle Salesforce CPQ project implementations
  • Must have good knowledge of Salesforce CPQ objects used in Quote to Contract process
  • Strong experience with SFDC Advanced approvals
  • Extensive knowledge of product configuration, complex pricing rules & sequence, quote configurator plugins & Salesforce CPQ APIs
  • Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities like perpetual and subscription-based licensing, various discounting models, amendments, extensions, co-terming and renewals
  • Solid experience in data migration strategy, tools and processes
  • Experience with quote document generation and integration with DocuSign
  • Experience working with Salesforce communities, Apex, SOQL, VisualForce, Lightning, JavaScript, Eclipse IDE, WorkBench, Data Loader, Ant tool, Reports and Dashboards
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Objects and Data Model
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong sense of ownership
  • Exposure to CLM tools and processes will be a plus
CERTIFICATIONS :
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator OR Advanced Administrator must
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I must
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist preferred
  • Salesforce Certified Application and/or System Architect preferred

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $195,300.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
