Snowflake is seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to join our rapidly growing company within our Revenue Operations team. As a member of the Revenue team, you will have exposure to a wide range of business activities including partnering cross-functionally withgroups like DealDesk & FP&A, working on OTC (order to cash) cycles, as well as helping design/implement process improvements and innovation. In addition, this role will be involved in 10Q/10K reporting, participate in the SOX compliance process, and support ongoing revenue process improvement and execution. This role will also be closely tied to automation efforts, process improvement/design for new products, and all elements of the monthly & quarterly revenue close. The candidate must have the ability and willingness to learn and assist with other revenue operations processes and responsibilities.
- Perform validation to ensure completeness and accuracy of data flowing from CPQ and Finance ERP to revenue engine (i.e., Revenue accounting system)
- Participate in NPI projects.
- Perform month-end close activities including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and back-end controls to ensure accuracy of revenue.
- Perform accurate accounting of transactions with multiple performance obligations in accordance with ASC 606 and the Company's internal revenue policy.
- Assist in internal and external audits through PBC generation and fielding questions.
- Develop and maintain desktop procedures for revenue accounting activities.
- Participate in continual process improvements by working closely with IT.
- Collaborate with OTC team to streamline close process.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of revenue recognition experience (Big 4 Audit experience is a plus)
- ASC606 technical revenue experience preferred
- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to communicate technical accounting to non-finance personnel
- Strong financial system background, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Workday experience is a plus
- Interest and exposure to systems automation
- CPA preferred but not required

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $105,000 - $141,700.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
