What you do:

As the newest member of the team, you'll practice in a state-of-the-art clinic, providing comprehensive patient care to a large patient base with complex vision and medical eye health needs. The daily patient flow, on average, consists of 12 comprehensive exams, additional contact lens checks, and follow-ups. The practice features four fully-equipped exam lanes, and you'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, including Optomap California, Oculus Keratograph, Humphrey Field Analyzer 3, Lenstar Myopia, Avanti OCT (including Angiovue), Lipiflow, Humphrey Matrix, NCT, auto-refractor/keratometer, and automated phoropters. A team of Optometric Technicians is available for support, enabling you to provide the highest level of care possible.

Who we're seeking:

Shoreline Optometry is seeking an Associate Optometrist to practice two to three days a week-no weekend hours. Excellent clinical skills, the ability to think outside of the box, and efficiently solve problems are essential qualities for this role. A candidate with experience in contact lenses, pediatric eye care, myopia management, and dry eye treatment will be an asset to the team.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Optometry license in the state of California
  • At least one to three years of professional experience

Preferred specialties:
