About the Optometrist Opening

Candidate must have the ability to serve patients in a caring manner and understands that the patients' time is more valuable than their own. This individual should be genuinely excited to see people come into their place of work, as well as have a commitment to excellence in customer service, believing that the food they are putting in their mouths was paid for by the person who walks through the front door of the practice each day. EYE LOVE OPTOMETRY is seeking an empathetic and conscientious optometrist with a kind heart, who is passionate about offering personalized eye care solutions to ensure optimal eye health for every patient. You'll efficiently perform comprehensive eye exams, while driving a process in which questions are asked to uncover patient needs, so that they can be addressed by specific ophthalmic lens materials and treatments when "prescribing from the chair." This helps to customize the patient experience, while building rapport and increasing patient buy-in. Listening to patients when they express their concerns, while providing reassurance, is a critical in good patient care. Additionally, clear and respectful communication with staff members, while always leading by example, is expected of all optometrists.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, excellent patient communication skills, interpersonal skills, and compassion for everyone's psychological and physical well-being. In addition, the ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, dependable, self-accountable, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. Being business-minded in helping to grow the practice is expected, as each optometrist's key productivity metrics will be regularly reviewed. Above all else, always be honorable and follow through with your word and commitments.

This long-term position can either be full-time or part-time. The days on which we schedule eye exams are Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and half-days on Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
