About the Job

Interviewer/Project Support

The Office of Measurement Services is seeking individuals to conduct telephone interviews and assist with project support.
Responsibilities:
1. (75%) Conducting interviews over the telephone with adults throughout Minnesota and nationwide
2. (20%) Updating participant information using tracking software or social media
3. (5%) Data entry, response coding, and editing

Starting wage $15.00/hr

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous customer service experience
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Voice
* Ability to work 12-14/hrs. a week between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday - Sunday.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a call center or participated in data collection efforts
* A high degree of organizational and time management skills with a keen eye to detail
* Takes initiative to identify opportunities/problems and ensure appropriate action is taken
* Strong analytical, communication, and process skills

About the Department

The Office of Measurement Services is a strategic measurement and assessment consulting office at the University of Minnesota. OMS applies a dynamic combination of reliable business practices and academic expertise to facilitate utilization of data for informed decision-making and optimal outcomes for clients. In addition to organizational and service applications, OMS provides classroom resources to the University through course exam scoring, student evaluation of teaching, development outcomes, and training grant evaluations.
