We are accepting applications for a working Utility Construction Foreman in St Louis, MO. The Ideal candidate must have 2+ years of responsibility as a Foreman for stormwater utilities or water/wastewater, industrial, or commercial sites. Candidate must have strong knowledge and understanding of plan sets and structural specs, heavy equipment operations and OSHAs safety regulations.   

Your Responsibilities as a Utility Construction Foreman:
•    Repair post construction stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, underground utilities and stormwater basins .
•    Maintain equipment trailer and service vehicles.
•    Operate hand-held, power tools and heavy construction equipment (e.g. skid loader, backhoe, excavator).
•    Train and supervise construction technicians.
•    Travel is Monday-Friday, as needed.
•    Manage project activities, budgets, documentation and timelines.
•    Apply construction and regulatory compliance techniques.
•    Document field observations.
•    Account for and manage project materials and equipment.
•    Conduct site inspections.
•    Ensure safe performance of project work.
•    Actively develop your own career path.

What we're looking for:
•    GED or High School Diploma.
•    5-7 years of construction experience.
•    Overnight travel 85% of the time.
•    Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
•    Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and manage staff
•    Experience with operation of heavy construction equipment (e.g. skid loader, backhoe, excavator), power tools and concrete hand tools.
•    Prior experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping and detention/retention basins
•    Able to perform manual labor, Lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces and under inclement weather conditions.
•    Knowledge of stormwater & sediment and erosion control.
•    Thorough understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations.
•    Comfortable using pickups and equipment trailers while understanding DOT requirements
