As a Packaging Tech - 1, you will participate in bottling production as assigned, as well as the care, maintenance and sanitation of all equipment and facilities. This position adheres to all safety procedures, supports quality and GMP standards.

What You Will Do

Packaging Production:

• Uncase empty glass to bottling line conveyers, keeping pace with production.
• Inspect labels and operate manual filler as well as manual palletizing.
• Responsible for removal of discarded material and recycling from the production floor and operating trash compactor.
• Safely and efficiently operate all assigned pieces of equipment.
• Complete routine production reporting and quality checks.

Projects, Teamwork, Safety and Data Management:

• Must maintain satisfactory attendance and consistently report to work on time.
• Must demonstrate situational awareness and sense of urgency.
• Focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with team members, leadership and other departments.
• Keep work area clean, organized and Food Safety compliant.
• Responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work area.

What You Need

• Must have high school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate; or 1 year of experience in sanitation in food production or manufacturing.
• Must be able to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases onto a conveyer belt.
• Must be skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Schedule - 2nd Shift - 16.75/hour plus $1000.00 Hiring Bonus
