Summary
Responsible for the daily operation and support for the corporate digital asset management system, providing access to Marketing, Sales, other winery departments, and external users. Possesses a thorough understanding of system capabilities and integrations, and fosters strong working relationships with department leaders, stakeholders, agencies, vendors, and cross-functional team members to define business needs. Leads cross-functional initiatives to drive improved performance. Manages system KPI dashboards and reports. Conducts process analysis and needs assessments.

Essential Functions

  • Provides day to day and long-range management of the Gallo Content Hub.
  • Collaborates with stakeholder groups, (Marketing, Sales, Information Technology and others) to promote user adoption, create, define, and document standards-based policies and procedures related to the delivery and preservation of digital assets and associated metadata.
  • Manages Community of Practice made up of primary cross functional partners to capture the voice of the business to ensure Gallo Content Hub meets corporate needs.
  • Collaborates with leadership team to define and execute against roadmaps and DAM maturity model.
  • Identifies and is responsible for best practices to uphold the quality of content systems and stored assets.
  • Serves as the Product Owner on IT Scrum team to ensure resources are deployed against prioritized initiatives.
  • Develops and reports KPI dashboards on usage, trends, and process adherence.
  • Develops taxonomy model and provides direction to Digital Librarian for metadata tagging audits.
  • Manages change to gain alignment in the planning, organization, and growth of asset collections for all stakeholder areas.
  • Ensures all uploaded content is Gallo compliant, with proper Digital Rights Management.
  • Understands how downstream systems such as websites, syndication to distributors, retailers, printed catalogs etc. rely upon assets.
  • Functions as the primary point of contact with IT, corporate teams, and vendors to manage user permission model, troubleshoot system problems and resolve issues.
  • Establishes and implements digital asset uploading and archival processes.
  • Partners with Digital Librarian to develop and deliver user training.
  • Prepares and manages special projects.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree, plus 5 years of communications, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, project management, business systems analysis, or Gallo Sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associate degree plus 7 years of Digital Assets Management (DAM) or computer systems experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus 9 years of communications, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, project management, business systems analysis, or Gallo Sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience developing training materials and standard operating procedures.
  • Skilled in quickly learning and becoming proficient in technical systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail while handling numerous projects with firm deadlines.
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Computer skill requirements include: Intermediate skills in Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Digital Asset Management, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or Business plus 8 years of experience updating or administrating websites with a content management system.
  • Tangible IT or web content systems experience.
  • Experience managing media in a Digital Asset Management (DAM) System and web content management system.
  • Experience training on software use and maintaining training materials.
  • Experience with marketing, marketing communications, or other content creation processes.
  • SEO knowledge and practice understanding.
  • Skilled in applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience with performing work that is varied and somewhat difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality, or ingenuity.
  • Knowledge of and experience with applying the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of content system specialization.
  • Excellent written English and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred computer skills include: Advanced skills in Microsoft applications.
